CMG Stone fabricates marble, quartzite, granite, quartz, porcelain and soapstone in our Bridgeport shop, thirty to fifty minutes from most of Westchester (Rye, Harrison, Larchmont, Scarsdale, Bedford and the towns between), and keeps an office in Old Greenwich, a short drive from the New York line, open by appointment only. Homeowners and designers are welcome at the slab yard to tag material in person before a single cut is made.
Westchester projects run the range: prewar renovations in Bronxville, new builds in Bedford, waterfront kitchens in Rye. What they share is stone worth the trip: bookmatched marble, quartzite with movement, honed finishes, mitered waterfall edges and full-height slab backsplashes. We cut everything in-house, dry-fit waterfall miters before glue-up, and carry veining around corners so the finished piece reads as one stone.
For renovations in Rye, Scarsdale, Bronxville and across the county, we coordinate templating around the cabinet install, and most countertop installs are done in a single day.
Choose your slabs at the yard, with sequential slabs if the job needs veining to flow across island and perimeter. We digitally template once cabinets are set, fabricate in-house, and install. Template to install typically runs one to two weeks.
Trade clients: we work from architects' and kitchen designers' drawings, flag seam placement before cutting, and send layout photos for approval on bookmatched work.
