CMG — Cornerstone Marble & Granite — fabricates granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, porcelain and soapstone countertops in our Bridgeport shop, about ten minutes up the Post Road from Fairfield center. Everything is templated, cut and finished by us, then installed by our own crew. No middlemen, no subcontracted installs.
Fairfield's housing runs from beach-area capes to Greenfield Hill colonials and new construction off the Post Road, and the countertop work tracks with it: durable quartz and quartzite islands for busy family kitchens, full-height slab backsplashes, and honed marble where the look matters most — baths, bars and butler's pantries.
We also cut fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchen tops in porcelain (quartz doesn't belong outside — UV discolors the resin), and remnant pieces for laundry rooms, hall baths and window sills.
Start at the yard and pick your actual slab — not a three-inch sample chip. Once your cabinets are set, we digitally template, cut and finish everything in our own shop, and install. Template to install typically runs one to two weeks.
