Baths · Fabricated in our Bridgeport shop
A vanity is a small piece of stone that gets looked at closely every day. CMG Stone cuts vanity tops for primary baths and powder rooms in our Bridgeport shop: double vanities, undermount and stone sinks, mitred aprons and backsplashes, all installed by our own crew.

A primary bath double vanity is often long enough to need careful slab selection. When the slab allows it, we cut the top as one piece so there's no seam between the sinks, and take the backsplash from the same slab so the veining carries up the wall.
Powder rooms are where people take chances on bold stone, like Calacatta Viola, Nero Marquina or onyx. Because the piece is small, we place the vanity on the best part of the slab before cutting. Small vanities can often come from our remnant rack, cut from offcuts of full slabs.

Bathrooms are gentler on stone than kitchens, which opens up more choices.
Works beautifully in a bath. It still etches from acidic cleaners, mouthwash or citrus, so honed is the practical finish.
A marble look without the etching. A good fit for a busy primary bath.
Never needs sealing and stays consistent. A safe pick for a kids' bath.
Translucent and can be backlit. Best as a powder room feature.
For a calm look, keep the edge simple: eased, or a mitred apron that makes the top read thicker than the slab. See our edge profiles, and our stone care guide for what to clean each material with.
Two bathroom jobs from our shop, from a primary bath to a powder room.
If you're doing a kitchen too, choose the vanity stone on the same yard visit.
Pick the slab at the yard, or ask about a remnant for a smaller vanity.
We template once the vanity cabinet is set, with the faucet and sink on site.
We place the vanity on the best part of the slab, then cut and finish it in our shop.
Typically one to two weeks after templating. Book your plumber for the next day.
See full slabs, not sample chips. Bring your cabinet plan or rough dimensions and a few photos of the room, and we'll show you stone that suits the space.

Often, yes. It depends on the length of the vanity, the size of the slab, and finding that length clear of flaws. We'll tell you at the yard whether your slab allows it.
Both. An undermount sink is the most common choice, with the cutout edge finished so it looks clean from above. For a seamless look, a sink can also be fabricated from the same stone as the top.
For a powder room or a single-sink vanity, often yes. See our remnants page, or ask when you book a yard visit.
