Calacatta Borghini primary bath
A Calacatta Borghini marble tub deck and mitred apron, paired with a marble-lined shower and stone bench.
Marble carried around the tub.
Calacatta Borghini gives this bath its white ground and broad gray-gold movement. The tub deck, apron and side return bring the stone into the center of the room, with brass fixtures and a large window above.
We planned the Borghini layout against the actual slabs before cutting, considering how the veining would meet across the deck, apron and corners. The mitred apron brings the marble down the front of the tub surround.
The three installation photographs show the tub surround, its relationship to the glass-enclosed shower, and the shower bench and stone surfaces.
