Engineered quartz is non-porous, never needs sealing and stays consistent slab to slab. The low-maintenance choice for busy kitchens and baths.

Engineered quartz is roughly ninety percent ground natural quartz bound with pigment and resin. Because it is manufactured, it is consistent: what you see on the sample is what arrives, slab after slab, with no surprises in movement or color. That makes it easy to match across long runs and to repeat the same look in another room.
The current generation of marble-look quartz has improved enormously and reads convincingly at normal viewing distance. It is the honest recommendation for a client who wants a white kitchen with veining, has young children, and has told us plainly that they do not want to think about the countertop again.
We fabricate Caesarstone, Cambria, Silestone and other major brands in our Bridgeport shop, and our quartz countertops page lists them all. For a vanity or laundry top, ask about remnants. If you are weighing it against natural stone, our guide to quartz vs. quartzite compares the two.
Non-porous. Never needs sealing, will not stain, will not etch. Soap and water is the entire maintenance routine.
Two real limitations. The resin binder scorches, so it is not heat resistant and trivets are mandatory. And it is not UV stable, so it will discolor in direct sunlight and should not be used for outdoor kitchens or in a sunroom with unshaded southern glazing.
Every top is templated, laid out and cut in our Bridgeport shop and installed by our own crew. We photograph your slab, place the template over the photo, and you approve where the veins and seams fall before anything is cut. Installation is usually one to two weeks after templating. See how a project runs and our edge profiles.
Natural stone changes from slab to slab, even within one name, and quartz is still worth seeing at full size. Come to our Bridgeport yard, choose the actual slabs for your job, and approve the layout before we cut.
